On this page, SSF provides an overview on organisations that share SSF's aims and/or philosophy, have a link to sustainable finance in Switzerland or contain useful information on sustainable finance.

Actares  Membership organisation based in Switzerland promoting sustainable investment management through active ownership.
Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) A not-for-profit charity that runs the global disclosure system for investors, companies, cities, states and regions to manage their environmental impacts.
Ethos Académie Non-profit association based in Switzerland, with the aim to promote a stable and prosperous socio-economic environment for the benefit of civil society and future generations.
Eurosif Umbrella organisation of the European Sustainable Investments Forums (SIFs) including FNG (Germany/Austria/Switzerland), France, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Switzerland (SSF), and the UK.
Financial Centres for Sustainability (FC4S) A network of financial centres with the objective to exchange experience and take common action on shared priorities to accelerate the expansion of green and sustainable finance. Both Geneva (represented by SFG) and Zurich (represented by SSF) are a member of the network.
Forum Nachhaltige Geldanlagen (FNG) Association for sustainable investments in German-spoken Europe (D, A, CH). SSF cooperates closely with FNG for events and publications on sustainable investments.
Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN) A network convening impact investors to facilitate knowledge exchange and producing valuable tools and resources. The GIIN seeks to accelerate the industry's development through focused leadership and collective action to reduce barriers to impact investment so more investors can allocate capital to fund solutions to the world's most intractable challenges.
Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Independent, international organisation that helps businesses take responsibility for their impacts, by providing them with the global common language to communicate those impacts. GRI provides the world’s most widely used standards for sustainability reporting.
Global Sustainable Investment Alliance (GSIA) A collaboration of the seven largest sustainable investment membership organisations in the world.
Greenbuzz   A Zurich based sustainability network bringing together roughly 1'000 professionals from banks, consultancies, NGOs, industry, and academia.
Green Digital Finance Alliance (GDFA) An international alliance with the aim to leverage digital technologies & innovations to enhance financing for sustainable development. SSF CEO Sabine Döblei sits in the Advisory Board of the alliance.
Green Finance Platform

A platform offering quick access to the latest research, case studies, toolkits, etc. with the aim to empower policy makers and market players to make evidence-based decisions about how to green their operations. It contains resources related to benchmarks, taxonomies and standards and also includes a Green Finance Measures database with 680+ policy and regulatory measures in over 100 developed and developing countries.

International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) On 3 November 2021, the IFRS Foundation Trustees announced the creation of a new standard-setting board: The International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB). The intention is for the ISSB to deliver a comprehensive global baseline of sustainability-related disclosure standards on climate and other environmental, social and governance (ESG) matters that provide investors and other capital market participants with information about companies’ sustainability-related risks and opportunities to help them make informed decisions.
Paris Agreement Capital Transition Assessment (PACTA) The Paris Agreement Capital Transition Assessment (PACTA) is a free, open-source methodology and tool, which measures financial portfolios' alignment with various climate scenarios consistent with the Paris Agreement.
Sustainable Finance Geneva (SFG) A sustainable finance association dedicated to promoting sustainable finance mainly in the French-speaking part of Switzerland.
Sustainable FinTech A project by the Swiss think tank foraus, working towards a digital sustainable finance industry in Switzerland.
SwissCleantech A sustainability oriented economic association representing the interests of the green economy and cleantech companies in Switzerland.  
Swiss Climate Foundation A non-profit foundation that promotes climate protection in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Its corporate partnerships allow it to fund small and medium enterprises (SME) that are proactive in their approach to reducing CO2 emissions.
Swiss Government - CSR Website   The Swiss Confederation understands Corporate Social Responsability (CSR) to be a contribution to sustainable development made by companies. The website contains sector specific CSR positioning papers, action plans, standards and tools for various sectors including the financial sector.
Schweizer Verein für verantwortungsbewusste Kapitalanlagen (SVVK/ASIR) An association founded by major Swiss public pension funds that aim to integrate environmental, social and governance aspects into their asset management.
Task-Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) The Financial Stability Board (FSB) created the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) to improve and increase reporting of climate-related financial information.
UN Principles for Responsible Banking (PRB) An international network of banks having committed to 6 common principles for sustainable banking. The Principles call for aligning the banking sector with the objectives of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Climate Agreement and represent a comprehensive framework for the integration of sustainability across all business areas of banks.
UN Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) An international network of investors working to put the six Principles for Responsible Investment into practice by supporting signatories to incorporate sustainability into their investment decision making and ownership practices.
Women in Sustainable Finance A network launched in Zurich with the goal to transform the financial industry internationally to a more sustainable one, and inspire and empower women who are working towards the same goal.
WWF An NGO committed to maintaining global biodiversity and reducing the use of natural resources to a sustainable level. WWF Switzerland has a specific program in the field of sustainable finance.
