General description of organisation
Socially Responsible Investment: Utilita positions itself in the segment of affordable residential housing. Investment in affordable housing is a sustainable alternative and diversification to traditional investments in real estate and other asset classes. They offer a regular, stable and long-term return with partial hedging of interest rate risk.
Environment: More than half of Utilita's portfolio meets the requirements of Swiss energy efficiency labels such as Minergie or Minergie-P.
Governance: The foundation's management is committed to maximum transparency and is therefore remunerated by a cost & fee model.
Reason for membership with SSF
Utilita was founded on the 3rd February 2017, conceived as a socially responsible and sustainable investment vehicle.
Utilita steadfastly lives by its values within its sphere of influence, promotes and develops them with like-minded groups. The Swiss Sustainable Finance association offers us an ideal platform for this purpose.
