General description of organisation
SZKB was founded in 1890 as a bank for the canton. Stability and foresight are in its DNA. Thus, the bank is still strongly rooted in the economy and the population of the canton of Schwyz and makes an important contribution to the development of the region. In addition to the state guarantee, it has a very broad branch network and, with more than 600 employees, is one of the largest employers in the Canton of Schwyz. As a modern universal bank, SZKB offers a wide range of products and services for both private and institutional clients. In the investment business, simplicity, transparency and sustainability are emphasized, and assets are managed locally in keeping with Schwyz tradition.
SZKB: SECURE, CREDIBLE, COMPETENT, LONG-TERM, SUSTAINABLE
Reason for membership with SSF
SZKB has long-standing experience with sustainable investments. The first investment solution considering strict sustainability criteria was launched as early as 2009. Although there were initial headwinds, the business was successively expanded and is now one of the bank's core competencies.
But even beyond the investment business, the bank has always integrated sustainability factors into its business activities - whether as a business partner, employer or Good Corporate Citizen. By becoming a member of Swiss Sustainable Finance, SZKB aims to play an active role in shaping the future of Sustainable Finance in Switzerland and to apply its many years of expertise in a profitable way.
