General description of organisation
The Pension Fund of the City of Winterthur (PKSW) is a public-law pension fund that was founded in 1911. The PKSW insures the employees of the city of Winterthur and ten additional affiliated institutions. It manages around 2.1 billion in assets for more than 5’700 active workers and 3’550 retirees.
The PKSW has been focusing on the topic of sustainable investment principles in its asset investments for some time, with the theme of sustainability already embedded in its investment regulations since 2016 and maintaining its own sustainability implementation concept since 2017.
Reason for membership with SSF
Our goal is to strengthen knowledge and contribute to a more sustainable pension fund landscape. This involves networking with peers and actively engaging in information exchange to stay updated on the latest developments in the sustainable investment industry.
