General description of organisation

Leonteq is a Swiss fintech company with a leading marketplace for structured investment solutions. Based on proprietary modern technology, the company offers derivative investment products and services and predominantly covers the capital protection, yield enhancement and participation product classes. Leonteq acts as both a direct issuer of its own products and as a partner to other financial institutions. Leonteq further enables life insurance companies and banks to produce capital-efficient, unit-linked pension products with guarantees.
The company has offices and subsidiaries in 13 countries, through which it serves over 50 markets. Leonteq AG is listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange (SIX: LEON). Leonteq Securities AG is the main operating subsidiary of Leonteq AG, is a securities dealer regulated by the Swiss Financial Market Authority FINMA and is a member of the Swiss Structured Product Association.

Reason for membership with SSF

Recognizing the growing importance of ESG and sustainability, Leonteq has launched a sustainability initiative to analyze Leonteq's sustainability efforts as a company and to identify how and where we can implement sustainable practices within our own operations and managerial processes as well as looking at how we can support our clients and partners in investing responsibly. We see the potential we have to encourage and implement sustainable investing opportunities for our clients and partners and our ambition is to become a leading ESG provider for structured products. Alongside this, Leonteq intends to begin publishing a sustainability report in 2022.
It is for this reason that Leonteq decided to become a member of Swiss Sustainable Finance.
