General description of organisation

Mirroring Geneva’s position as a leading global financial center, the Geneva Finance Research Institute (GFRI) was set up in 2008 with the mission to conduct high-quality academic research and to act as the knowledge transfer vehicle from the University of Geneva to the finance community. The institute regularly organizes seminars and conferences which bring together academics and practitioners to discuss the latest challenges in finance.
The primary research interests of GFRI members are asset management and corporate governance.
