General description of organisation
Finreon, founded in 2009 as a spin-off from the University of St.Gallen (HSG), has established itself as a competent partner for innovative investment concepts in the field of asset management and investment consulting. Finreon is best described as a Think-Tank for the development of asset management solutions. Based on the client’s needs and extensive professional experience, we transfer the most recent findings in academic research into innovative solutions. Both Finreon and its employees are actively involved in financial research.
Reason for membership with SSF
As a member of SSF, we strive to strengthen further developments of sustainable finance and foster solutions to combat climate change within the financial industry such as portfolio decarbonization. We believe that in line with all other sectors of the economy, financial institutions as ourselves have the responsibility to make their own positive contribution to the transition from brown to green economy. Our goal is to advance innovative solutions by bridging the gap between academia and practice.
