BNP Paribas is the european leading bank and key player in international banking. It operates in 64 countries and has nearly 184,000 employees.
The Group has key positions in its three main fields of activity:
• Commercial, Personal Banking & Services for Commercial & personal banking and specialized businesses including BNP Paribas Personal Finance and Arval;
• Investment & Protection Services for savings, investment and protection solutions;
• Corporate & Institutional Banking, focused on wholesale market and financing solutions for corporate and institutional investors.

BNP Paribas defined its mission as contributing to a Responsible and Sustainable economy by financing and advising clients according to the highest ethical standards.
The Group has implemented a Corporate Social Responsibility approach in all its activities and adopted social and environmental goals aligned with global standards such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the Principles for Responsible Banking.
In line with its commitment made in the wake of COP21 in 2015 to align its credit portfolio with the objectives of the Paris Agreement, BNP Paribas is part of the Net-Zero Banking Alliance launched by the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI).
As part of its 2025 strategic plan, the Group has an intention of mobilizing more than 350 billion EUR through loans and bond issues covering environmental and social topics for corporate clients, and unveiled in April 2022 its first ‘Climate Analytics and Alignment Report’ which will steer the alignment of its portfolio with its net-zero commitment.
