General description of organisation
Our business is all about protecting people over the long term. As a leading insurer, we create value for customers and stakeholders while contributing to social stability and economic growth. We’re reducing our carbon footprint and leveraging core insurance and investment activities to better address climate risk. AXA signed the UN Principles for Responsible Investment in 2012 and is a Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) member since 2006.
Reason for membership with SSF
AXA is a long-term global investor with a duty to act in the best interests of its policyholders, shareholders and other stakeholders. We have developed a comprehensive policy that sets out our position and beliefs on Responsible Investment (RI). Our objective is to align investments with AXA’s corporate responsibility agenda of protecting people over the long term and creating stronger and more sustainable societies and financial marketplaces – in Switzerland and globally.
