Katja Brunner, Director Legal & Regulatory

Katja Brunner has nearly 20 years of experience in the financial sector. As Director Legal & Regulatory at SSF, and with her broad expertise and regulatory background, she is responsible for political dialogue and regulatory advocacy on sustainable finance. Her role also involves leading the Stewardship topic and the Sustainable Investing Platform, among other responsibilities. She intervenes as a lecturer in various organisations.

Katja is a Board member of the Swiss Platform of Impact Investing.

Prior to joining SSF, Katja spent many years in various leading and expert positions at the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs SECO, the Federal Department of Finance FDF, FINMA as well as in the private sector (banking and asset management) and in the consulting industry (Big 4).

Katja graduated in law from the Universities of Lausanne and Geneva. She is an attorney and was admitted to the Geneva State Bar. From the University of Zurich, she obtained an LL.M. in International Business Law.
