Alberto Stival has been active in the financial sector for more than 20 years. Alberto Stival has been active in the financial sector for more than 20 years. At SSF he is responsible for liaising with the members in the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland and supporting with the development of educational offerings around sustainable finance.
Alberto Stival was Deputy Director at Centro di Studi Bancari (CSB), the Center for Banking Studies established in 1990 by the Ticino Banking Association, for many years. Before his employment at CSB, Alberto worked for the BSI SA and the Ticino Cantonal Bank where he was responsible for the sustainability report. He was a member of the Board of CYP (the former "Center for Young Professionals in Banking") and Senior Advisor Educational Development at SwissBanking. He currently teaches banking and finance at Supsi and serves as Chairman of pr suisse.
Alberto Stival graduated in economics, majoring in political economy, from University of Fribourg and has spent an academic semester at University College Dublin (UCD). His master's thesis focused on the relation between quality of life and economic growth.
