General description of organisation
Founded in 1995, IAM Independent Asset Management SA’s („IAM“), sole activity is asset management for institutional investors. Specialised in managing balanced mandates (BVV2/OPP2) and Swiss Equities, IAM relies on active portfolio management in order to achieve its objective: wealth creation. One golden rule is: no derivatives, no structured products or hedge funds. IAM is regulated by the FINMA and manages assets currently above CHF 5 billion.
Reason for membership with SSF
IAMs main objective is long term wealth creation for its clients. As active managers applying a bottom up investment process for Swiss equities, we consider many different factors. Although the economic fundamental data remains central to the investment decisions, we are convinced that companies, which do not take into account social, environmental or governance issues, will not be successful over the long term. Furthermore, joining Swiss Sustainable Finance allows IAM to be part of a network of Swiss professionals, engaged in topics shaping our future.
