SSF Newsletter August 2022

All aboard!

Dear Sir or Madam,

Having re-joined the team in July, I am happy to be back and see how much the SSF membership has grown and how many projects are currently underway. SSF used the summer months to prepare for an exciting autumn.

Just yesterday, we launched a study on net zero, jointly with other finance associations (see SSF news below). At the academic conference on sustainable finance research GRASFI, that will take place in Zurich this year, we’ll sponsor a research award on “transparency for stakeholders”. After all, we consider it key to get more insights about how to best provide transparency for clients. Also, different SSF events are now open for sign-up: check out the program of the interesting conference on sustainability in commodities taking place in Lugano soon.

With only about one month left to the Building Bridges Summit in early October, Swiss players and the SSF team are working hard to complete projects in various areas of sustainable finance. These include providing clear guidance on Swiss Climate Scores, the launch of a TNFD national consultation group and many other activities. Join SSF at Building Bridges for one of our events.

I am proud to come back to such a motivated team with an exciting project pipeline and to contribute to the further success of sustainable finance in Switzerland.

Kind regards,

Kelly Hess
