General description of organisation
Founded in 2017, VALYOU is a Swiss investment foundation located in Rapperswil-Jona. We invest in infrastructure projects, particularly in the energy sector, and attach importance to a long-term investment horizon. Our goal is to create financial value through sustainable investments in compliance with ecological, social and ethical criteria. The management is mandated to Swiss KMU Partners AG, a multi-family office with a large network in the Swiss SME world.
Reason for membership with SSF
VALYOU focuses on infrastructure projects particularly in the energy sector in order contribute to a successful energy transition. Since renewable energies are unpredictable and lead to high fluctuations in power supply, large storage units are needed to stabilize the grid. We already own the largest battery storage facility in Switzerland as well as in Finland, and we continuously realize new storage projects in the future. Furthermore, we own together with InvestInvent AG a big photovoltaic system in Spain. Regarding the agricultural sector, we have a direct investment in an organic olive orchard in Tuscany. We believe this membership will help us to achieve our goals even better.
